Even though many won’t admit it, a lot of clubbers and ravers started out as Indie kids. There are actually quite a few similarities between the two scenes
- Both started out as small and outside the mainstream
- Both went mainstream in a big way around 1991
- Both have stayed around in one form or another
- A gig can be like a club – hot, sweaty, hands in the air, people dedicated to the cause
